Valentino Rossi and his Metaverse Launch on Roblox
Reporting from The Cryptonomist, VR46 Metaverse officially announced the launch of Moto Island, The Official Valentino Rossi Experience, on Roblox. This project was created in collaboration with Dubit’s Metaverse studio, Moto Island which offers online multiplayer racing.
This experience is a first for VR46 Metaverse, the company that developed the image of world motorcycle racing champion, Valentino Rossi, in the world of games and Metaverse.
Roblox was chosen as the home of Moto Island by Valentino Rossi for its prominence in the gaming landscape and its power to reach players in fun and engaging ways. Moto Island is built around two core values of accessibility and customization, aiming to convey the authentic competitive spirit of motorsport.
What’s ‘Moto Island’ Like in Roblox?
“I really wanted to create such an experience, for all motorsport fans. With Moto Island we wanted to take the game to another level, offering all players a fun and quality experience. Interacting and communicating with my fans has always been a key aspect throughout my career and now it’s great to be able to do the same with the younger generations through Roblox,” said Valentino Rossi, quoted from The Cryptonomist, Wednesday (8/3/2023).
Moto Island is an open world environment filled with cities, villages, snow-capped peaks, sea roads, forests and of course race tracks that allow up to 30 racers to line up and try out some of the best physics engine in Roblox.
According to Cryptonomist, Moto Island will continue to grow and be updated in the coming months to create added value for players with new content and events.
