Doodle is expanding from its Ethereum Profile Picture (PFP) to fully customizable avatars. Today’s launch of the Doodles 2-character builder within the Studio app for NFT holders is a big step forward with the help of Pharrell Williams and adidas.
Along with the launch of Character Builder, which lets Doodles NFT holders change their costumes and attributes for a full-body avatar, Doodles has announced an upcoming airdrop for “Pharrell Packs”. The NFT pack includes digital apparel from musician Pharrell Williams and fashion brands he has created or collaborated with.
The pack features digital doodle wearables from Adidas, Human Made, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) and Ice Cream. Each pack includes digital wearables along with a token that can be redeemed for an exclusive physical piece of apparel.
Only 300 packs are being produced, and they’ll be free to Doodle holders who meet certain criteria. According to the project’s website, requirements include owning the original Doodle NFT and using the Duplicator NFT to generate a digital garment. If more than 300 people ultimately qualify by the cutoff date, a lottery will be held to choose the winners.
Doodles head of product management Joe Ranzenbach did not confirm whether the brands would someday release standalone digital apparel for Doodles or have other collaborations. However, he added that Doodle has a “pipeline of brand partners” for future drops.

Williams, the legendary musician and record producer best known for hits like “Happy,” has been associated with Doodle since June 2022, when he was named the startup’s chief brand officer. At the time, Doodle stated that there were plans to release an NFT-inspired album (executive produced by Williams) on Columbia Records, but this has yet to be revealed.
Doodles CEO Julian Holguin described Williams at WebSummit last November as “integral” to the project and a “day-to-day influence” on the growing brand.
