Yuriy : Our team consist of two parts. First part is 1makrketmakers.com team experienced in market making and business development. This part of the team is represented by our product lead Vlas in this AMA. Second part of our team is a technical team represented in this AMA by main platform architect and smart contracts developer Yuriy. My experience in cryptocurrency development is more than 3 years.
Vlas : We have been in the cryptocurrency market since 2017. We survived the crypto winter and now we are doing a new project in the field of DeFi.
Initially, we traded on the market independently, but then we began to apply the best market-making practices from the stock market and began to provide services in the field of exchange business development. In parallel, in the process of work, we became the official market makers of the Binance Futures platform.

Q2. What is Polars can you tell me more about that ?
Yuriy : Polars is a prediction markets platform with unique economical model which support impermanent loss free investment opportunities and unique events prediction model. Our economical model gives to you an opportunity not only win voting for the event results but also significantly reduces your risk in a long term comparing to other platforms.
Vlas : Initially, the idea of polar tokens was centralized. We wanted to create a unique futures asset that would depend not only on supply and demand, but also on the results of external events. Later, Yuri implemented these ideas into smart contracts and the project became Defi

Yuriy : Polars platform has a governance token POL wich gives opportunity to participate in the platform gouvernance, access to unique services like creation of your own prediction markets and opportunity to participate in reward programs from platform fees distribution.

Q4. How much feature you have for prediction market ?
Yuriy :Our platform supports any types of events, so it can be different types of sport events, political events, financial market events and more. Participants can affect which event will be selected for the platform by voting in the future releases. Also our platform gives unique opportunity to participate in multiple events by one action, what can multiply your results if you made your prediction right. It is also we plфn to have multiple event threads in upcoming future so it will be possible to participate in several events simultaneously.
I’ll give you an example with cryptocurrency markets. If BTC price changes during the day only by 5-15%, on our platform you can have multiple BTC events and make 5-10% on every events so if you are alway correct you can gain 100% of profits.
It is just an example how our platform might be more profitable than regular trading on DEX or CEX.

Yuriy : We plan to have an IDO in the end of this May so every one can buy token. Users bought tokens will be able to participate in governance token farming program.

Yuriy :We are very serious about security. Currently we performing audit of our smart contract by Zokyo team. We plan to have additional audits in the future.

You have a lot of similar competitors in the crypto world. Can you indicate the strength of polar.io to compete with other competitors? What is your most trusted feature?
Yuriy : Our project is unique from economical model and user experience point of view. So we have strong sides which gives us an opportunity to compete successfully. Some features like unlimited event threads, opportunity to reduce risks with longer participation in the platform, possibility to create user’s prediction markets in the future and many more not yet public features in our roadmap should be interesting for our users we believe.
Vlas : One of the main problems in the prediction market is insufficient liquidity. We are solving this problem, since within the framework of one pair of polar tokens at a specific time, the interests of several groups of stakeholders intersect. This provides excess liquidity for polar tokens, which benefits both ordinary users and liquidity providers.

Member 2 : Good day @vlas_m So many projects just like to speak about the “long term vision and mission” but what are your short terms objectives? What are you focusing right now?
Yuriy :Currently we are focused on public test of our MVp and launch. It is really important moment for each project to do everything in a right way.
Vlas : At the moment, our MVP is ready. We are focused on delivering a quality testnet and launching the mainnet soon. In parallel, we are focusing on getting the first user base
Member 3 : How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in countries/regions where English is not spoken well like Indonesia?
Vlas : We plan to fully adapt the new language version for Indonesia and work with our Indonesian marketing partners
Member 4 : Success of a project also depends on the community, what’s your project plan in attracting non-crypto users and spreading awareness globally especially to non English speaking countries?
Vlas : We plan to focus on partnerships and cooperation with various real companies that have their own adherents, who, in parallel, are betters. We want to offer them an alternative
