The market share of digital currency or cryptocurrency in Indonesia is increasingly attractive. At the end of June 2023, the Futures and Commodity Trading Supervisory Agency (Bappebti) issued the latest regulations regarding crypto asset trading in Indonesia.
In this regulation there is a new list of crypto assets that are legal and may be legally traded in the country. A total of 501 crypto assets are now listed in CoFTRA Regulation (PerBa) Number 4 of 2023 concerning Establishment of a List of Crypto Assets to be Traded on the Physical Crypto Asset Market.
One of the crypto assets made by the nation’s children, $CREO, was successfully added at number 496 as a legal crypto asset that successfully passed Bappebti’s stringent tests in 2023. This latest PerBa is a change to PerBa No. 11 of 2022, where as many as 383 crypto assets are in the form of coins or tokens foreign and local, listed as a legitimate crypto asset.
