PEPE is a deflationary memecoin launched on Ethereum. The cryptocurrency was created as a tribute to the internet meme character Pepe the Frog, created by Matt Furie, who gained popularity in the early 2000s.
According to Coinmarketcap, the project aims to capitalize on the popularity of meme coins, such as Shiba Inu and Dogecoin, and strive to establish itself as one of the top meme-based cryptocurrencies.
PEPE appealed to the cryptocurrency community by instituting a tax-free policy, a redistributive system that rewards long-term shareholders, and a burn mechanism to maintain PEPE coin scarcity.
The PEPE roadmap features three phases, where the first phase includes listing on CoinMarketCap, and getting $PEPE trending on Twitter, while phase two includes listing on a centralized exchange (CEX) and phase three includes listing of tier 1 exchanges.
Based on data from Coinmarketcap, Monday (15/5/2023) PEPE Coin fell 6.17 percent in the last 24 hours. The PEPE Coin price is currently at the level of IDR 0.025 with a trading volume of IDR 6.8 trillion in the last 24 hours.
PEPE Coin has a market capitalization of around IDR 9.8 trillion. Until now there has been a circulating supply of 391.7 trillion PEPE Coin from a maximum supply of 420.6 trillion.
