Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort is supposed to be the first hotel in the Arab Kingdom to accept digital asset payments. Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort is reportedly the first hotel in the country to accept cryptocurrency as a means of payment.

Launching Cryptopotato, other hotels located on the Arabian peninsula have embraced digital assets over the past few months including W Dubai – The Palm and Palazzo Versace Dubai.

According to recent coverage, Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort partnered with Eazy Financial Services to allow guests to settle accommodation bills in cryptocurrency. The hotel will place specially designed terminals in its stores to activate offers via the Binance app.

The Central Bank of Bahrain approved the move, making Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort the first in the country to provide such a payment option.

“As technology evolves, and our constant desire to provide our valued guests with the highest level of service, we are pleased to announce that we are the first hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the region to use the latest digital payment technology in partnership with Eazy Financial Services,” said General Manager of Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort Amid Yazji.

This luxurious four-star hotel overlooks the Arabian Gulf and offers its guests a swimming pool, private sand, beach gym, fitness center and many other facilities. Leading platforms that collect millions of opinions on organizations in the tourism sector, such as TripAdvisor, ranked Novotel Bahrain Al Dana Resort among the ten best hotels in the country for 2023.

Manama pearls are not the only ones in the Arab region to embrace digital assets. Two UAE resorts, W Dubai The Palm and Palazzo Versace Dubai have entered. Meanwhile, the latter accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Binance Coin (BNB), while the former supports Shiba Inu (SHIB).
