US Dollar Losing Its Value in 5 Years? This Investment Manager Recommends Bitcoin!

Investment manager Larry Lepard has warned that the US dollar could lose a large portion of its value within 5 to 10 years.

Following the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war, the US did something it considered very wrong: it seized $600 billion of Russia’s currency reserves equivalent to IDR 8.94 quadrillion ($1 = IDR 14,908).

The United States is also sending a message to every other country in the world that if the US doesn’t like what they are doing, the US can take their countries’ money.

Then, what is the impact of America’s attitude towards the strength of the US dollar? Has the declining value of the US dollar affected the general price of crypto?

Check out the complete information as reported by The Bit Times page below.

The US Dollar Loses Most of Its Value in 5-10 Years

Larry Lepard, investment manager and founder of Equity Management Associates (EMA), shared his predictions about the fall of the US dollar in an interview with Kitco News, published in early April 2023.

Lepard said that: “I would very confidently say the dollar will be effectively restructured or has lost most of its value in 10 years and I think, to be honest, it could even be shorter than that. My average guess is about 5 years.

The executive then explained how he made his prediction: “I base it on looking at history and other currency events in other countries and observing patterns of how long this will take.”

The investment manager continues the problems facing the US economy from an inflation perspective.

He said the decline in the value of the US dollar would be exacerbated by inflation. Therefore as one of the hedge assets, Lepard recommends gold and Bitcoin.

Lepard continued that the average investor in the United States has been told by the government to buy stocks, bonds and not to worry about the currency.

The depreciation of the US dollar is serious and the average investor who owns no gold and doesn’t own Bitcoin according to Leopard will really suffer in the next 10 or 15 years.

Not only that, now many countries are starting to look for other currency options for international transactions besides using US dollars. while several African countries are grappling with the negative impact of the ongoing US dollar crisis, interest in adopting Bitcoin as an alternative currency is seen to be increasing.
